Rankin, the superstar photographer known for his portraits of Jay-Z, David Bowie and Arnold Shwarzenegger has taken some gorgeous photos to promote a HIV-medication campaign in Zambia.
The British photographer, who publishes Another Magazine and Another Man, has teamed up with HIV charity (RED) and Bank of America, to help raise awareness of the lifesaving medication that is allowing HIV-positive women to lead healthy lives and deliver healthy babies in the Southern African country.
The campaign features the stories of mothers, children and healthcare workers whose lives were changed as a result of the HIV medication, known as ARVs (Anti retro viral) drugs.
It’s goal is to help deliver the first Aids-free generation in over thirty years.
This adorable shot is of Blessing who, according to the website, was born free of HIV thanks to free ARVs that were made available to her mother.

Precious also received free ARVs which meant that her three children – Stanley, Geofry and Benson – were all born free of HIV.
This is Precious with Stanley & Geofry.

And this is Benson saying: ‘Yeah!’

Another pictures feature a different Blessing, a super cute 7-year-old who, the campaign says, one day dreams of become a doctor.

And this is Gertrude who, like many women in her community, discovered she was HIV–positive during a routine pregnancy exam. Thankfully, after finding out her status, she started treatment and later gave birth to her HIV-free son, Bernard.
